Stir Fry Seminars & Consulting
Since its founding in 1994, StirFry Seminars & Consulting has revolutionized the field of diversity through its internationally acclaimed documentary films and seminars. Millions of viewers worldwide have seen The Color of Fear, as well as many of the other groundbreaking films produced and directed by Lee Mun Wah, StirFry’s founder, CEO and Master Trainer. In 1995, Oprah Winfrey produced a one-hour special on Lee Mun Wah’s life and the impact of The Color of Fear.
Thousands of participants from educational, government, corporate and social service agencies have taken StirFry’s trainings and seminars so that they could then begin facilitating discussion groups in their agencies, schools, and communities and learn to engage in authentic and healthy multicultural dialogue. International Center for Leadership in Education
Founded in 1991, the International Center for Leadership in Education has a wealth of experience in assisting schools and districts in implementing organizational changes that translate into world-class curriculum, instruction, and assessment systems. International Center staff, keynote speakers, consultants, and trainers share their expertise in the management of change, achieving high standards, curriculum development and customized solutions for clients. ICLE is an ongoing partner of the Future Forward Leadership Redesign Institute in school improvement.
The International Center’s work is based on the premise that students are living in a world that is changing dramatically and the education system needs to adapt to those changes in order to prepare students for the world in which they will live and work. Helping to nurture the shared vision and other crucial elements of school improvement is one portion of the International Center’s work.
The International Center has developed an extraordinary reservoir of resources and relationships to advance school improvement. The Rigor/Relevance Framework is used in schools across the country and around the world to make instruction and assessment more rigorous and more relevant for all students.
Education Reform Enterprises
Tamika Fuller is an independent consultant with an extensive background in advocacy, leadership, and customized approaches to accelerating growth. She has experience coaching and consulting nationally, and her knowledge of a variety of assessments contributes to her ability to engage stakeholders at deeper levels of understanding with regard to data collection, analysis, and interpretation. Her proven success as both teacher and mentor in turnaround schools has provided her with extensive experience in systems alignment and change management.
Umoja Consulting builds, trains, and advises the implementation of quality programs and experiences focused on equity and diversity. As a Future Forward equity and diversity partner, Umoja Consulting helps companies and organizations deepen their knowledge and discourse around equity and diversity and helps build a culture around what Umoja calls the “lean-in”. Umoja helps create high quality and culturally relevant experiences and programs to deepen critical thinking and practice for equitable outcomes.
